Good news and bad news for the Packers as they take on the Lions tomorrow to open up the Thanksgiving football action.

Good News:  They are playing the Lions, and yes the Packers have injury issues, but the Lions do as well.

Bad News:  The Packers are 12-18-2 all time on Thanksgiving Day.  Included are loses to the Dallas Cowboys, the Lions, and the Pottstville Maroons back in 1925.

Here's the Packer's History on Thanksgiving, they last played in 2007 against the Lions.

One bonus, if the game is a stinker, and it might be if Aaron Rodgers gets any protection, there will be a Motown themed half-time show.  Current acts, Kem and Shontelle will perform Motown classics in honor of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Motown Records.
