Man Recreates 747 in his Garage

A man in Redondo Beach, California loves the luxury of flying first class so much, he doesn't need to travel any further than his own Redondo Beach garage to do it.  Anothony Toth has built a full-scale replica of a first-class cabin from a Pan Am World Airways 747.  Toth has taken hs hobby so seriously that he has a timetable listing the flight schedule from Los Angeles that Pan Am would have used in the 1970s.

Visitors then can go into the cabin and see what a Pan Am aircraft from the 1960s and '70s looks like.

Toth is an aircraft enthusiast, and a global sales director for United Airlines.  It has been a labor of love for Toth who has worked on his airplane cabin for about 20 years and has spent some $50,000 on parts and airline memorabilia.  He serves guests a complimentary beverages, and they eat peanuts from a Pan Am labeled package.

There is no word on whether he charges guests if they bring an extra bag along, hires actors to be rude flight attendants, or provides a crying baby in the seat next to you.
