Texas quarterback Colt McCoy almost ended up in the outhouse with his near blunder in the Big XII Championship Game, but he is alive and well in the penthouse and winning multiple college post season awards.

So far, McCoy has taken the Maxwell Award for the best all around player, the Walter Camp player of the year award, and the Davey O'Brien Award for the best college quarterback.

We'll find out Saturday how he fares in the Heisman race.  I would have to say he is the favorite at this point.  Being a quarterback on an undefeated Texas team, and with his previous body of work, he should be holing up the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night.
