Hit For Haiti Raises Over $200,0000

 

A handful of ATP World Tour and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour stars played in a 90-minute charity exhibition in the Hit for Haiti fundraiser in Melbourne Sunday.

Among those giving of their time fo the cause was Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal, Kin Clijsters and others. 

Aussie Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley was delighted with the outcome of the charity event.  “It’s fantastic to see the tennis family from around the globe band together to help make a difference in this time of need” Tiley said.

The Austrailian Open begins tonite.  ESPN2 and Tennis Channel will bring the action to America.
