A couple weeks ago it was a Zebra that was found wandering around an Atlanta interstate.  The Zebra got away from a trainer at The Ringling Brothers Circus, now a Buffalo or Bison is on Interstate 20 in Downtown Atlanta.

The Zebra was pretty much unharmed.  This Buffalo appears to be injured.

This begs the question... is Ted Turner keeping buffalo at his Atlanta residence?

WSB-TV is reporting the buffalo fell off the back of a trailer and got injured.  It was unable to get up, and at 3:15 the bison was shot, not sure by who.

Update officials say it was a buffalo and not and American Bison.  Glad that was cleared up, I'm sure that doesn't matter to all the folks caught in the traffic jam.
