It will be three Americans and Kevin Anderson in the semifinals of the 2010 Atlanta Tennis Championships.  What a great start to the U.S. Open Series for American players.

Although it was a South African by way of the University of Illinois, Kevin Anderson who got the party started with his win in the quarters.

Next up was John Isner.  He took Michael Russell to task with an easy win in the unbearable afternoon heat.

John Isner practices before his quarterfinal match.

Andy Roddick then delighted the sellout crowd with a tough 3-set win over Xavier Malisse.

Mardy Fish and Taylor Dent closed out the night with Fish beating his countryman.

Saturday's semis should be special with Anderson playing Isner and Fish taking on Roddick.

As a bonus for all the doubles fans the team of Blake and Isner is still alive in the doubles.
