Atlanta really is a zoo.  In the last year we had a circus zebra roam the streets of Downtown Atlanta, a bison on the interstate, and now llamas were on the loose?

An employee with the Horizons School near DeKalb Avenue and Sutherland Terrace said that a pack of llamas escaped from the school early Tuesday morning, but the llamas were captured after 30 minutes.

"It's fairly easy," administrator Les Garber said. "You bring them some food and they come charging."

Garber said the llamas escaped after children in the boarding school program who were sleeping over at the school left the llamas' gate open.

The school,  a private k-12 institution, has the animals for part of its curriculum.

Be careful on the streets of Atlanta, you never know what you might see.
