The Jawbone UP

I've been testing a Jawbone UP for the better part of a week now and it is an interesting device to play around with.

I know the company has said there have been many problems with it and they are offering a replacement or refund, but mine is still working.

It tracks your activity throughout the day and night, including your sleep.

I find this the most interesting feature so far as I'm always concerned about the quality of sleep I'm getting.

Each morning I sync the Jawbone bracelet with my iPad and it produces a bunch of results from the previous day to review.

Here is what a night of sleep might look like.

This was my night of sleep from the night of Dec. 6 to the morning of Dec. 7.  It's scary accurate as I read for about a 30 minutes before I fell asleep and woke up once around 5am or so.

I don't know what this all means for me big picture, but I usually get 6-7 hours of sleep each night most of it is deep sleep, which is good.  My sleep quality for this night was 89, which was down a few points from the previous nights.

I'm still testing other features of the UP and each day I'm looking to see how accurate is is.

Once they get all the kinks worked out, for $99 it's a pretty cool little thing to have.
