A Malawian-born boy was kicked out of a school in southern England because teachers suspected he was a “man a decade older than he said he was.”
According to UK’s widely circulating tabloid, The Sun, the boy – Prince Summerfield who has enrolled at a new school was sent home as Petersfield head teacher believes he is “ a man of 24”.
His mum, a Malawian 30-year-old, insisted the boy is 14.
The boy has been using a Malawi birth certificate which The Sun published, showing his original surname as Chimwanga and his birth date as September 24, 1996. It was registered in 2009.
The boy’s stepdad, David, 49, who met the Malawian woman while working in Africa, said the parents will consider taking legal action against the school.
