A storm of amazement has struck air-traffic control in Washington after a staff member fell asleep while on duty at Reagan National Airport.

Pilots in two aircraft were forced to land without assistance. The agency for flight safety NTSB stated that the controller confessed that this happened after the fourth consecutive night of a 10PM to 6AM shift.
