Holly and Andy get the opportunity of a lifetime when they are given free tickets to fly anywhere in the world. A longed-for road trip in America, encompassing several US states and Route 66, the Mother Road herself, ensues. However, Holly and Andy aren't quite as savvy as they like to think, and they get into a lot of trouble along the way. Cue overly-friendly Mormons in Utah, Nazi-dinosaurs in Colorado, ghost cowboys in Arizona, hostile Germans in New Mexico, accidental drug deals in Las Vegas and freakish weather all over the place. The journey is interspersed with a desperate search for a decent cup of tea and a mission to convince everyone they really are English and definitely not Australian.
