Amazon's Best Selling Product: The Kindle

The Kindle is Amazon's best selling product, but how many have been sold?

Amazon still isn't up to giving us an actual number. It had no problem letting investors know that it moved 2.5 million copies of the final book in J.K. Rowling's series during its debut quarter three years ago. One can also assume that Amazon has probably sold plenty more copies since its debut.

In other words, we're not necessarily any smarter than we were two weeks ago when an official post in Amazon's Kindle forum revealed that it had sold "millions" of the latest model, but we do now know the Kindle has outsold everything else on Amazon.com.

Reasons the Kindle has sold so well in 2010 include: ease of use, the new smaller size, battery life in unreal, and price.  Since a Wi-Fi Kindle can be had for $139, it is almost a no-brainer.

Will Amazon release the actual number of Kindles sold?  Probably not, but we'll find out soon.

Pro sports teams and travelers trying to catch a flight have been in the same boat in places lie Buffalo where winter weather continues to cause problems.

The New England Patriots even had to spend an extra night in the area after their game against Buffalo because of the weather.

Here's a clip of a local newscast from Buffalo.

Week 17: Fantasy Football Buy, Sell, or Hold

Congratulations, it looks as though your team has made the Super Bowl of you league. After 16 weeks of play, numerous injuries, bye weeks, bad weather and costly interceptions you have made it to the pinnacle of your league. You may be playing for bragging rights or even a bunch of dough, so making the right decisions at this point are critical.

Here's the buy, sell or hold for this week. Remember as the week goes on, keep an eye on the weather forecasts for games that include your players.

Buy:

Aaron Rodgers, QB Packers - Rodgers was back after a concussion and he looked great. 4 TDs and a bunch of yards. If you have him, you have to start him, even though they are playing the Bears.

Michael Vick, QB Eagles - He's the hottest quarterback in the league right now. He should have one more big game as the Eagles head into the playoffs.

Jacoby Jones, WR Texans - He will be agood start as a third wideout this week. Last week he had five catches for 115 yards.  Shaub likes throwing in his direction.

Sell:

Jay Cutler, QB Bears - Cutler is prone to having one good game, hen one bad game. This week may be his bad game.

Andre Roberts, WR Cardinals - Had 5 receptions last week, but if you have other options, don't rely on Roberts.

Shaun Hill, QB Lions - Threw 2 TDs last week, if you are starting him again, you may be in trouble.

Matt Hasselbeck, QB Seahawks - Hasselbeck is out with an injury. Charlie Whitehurst to start.

Hold:

It's Championship Week, no need to hold anyone.

Bonus - A Key Player you Should Pick Up:

Jared Cook, TE Titans - On a team that is going nowhere, Cook has been a bright spot. He had 5 catches for 96 yards and a TD in week 16. He's athletic and good hands. He could be a difference maker in a Championship game.

    Hugh Hefner Newly Engaged

The ageless Hugh Hefner shocked the world when he announced his engagement to Playmate Crystal Harris over the Christmas holiday, so who is this Crystal Harris, and what does she look like?

24-year-old Crystal was born in Arizona and raised in San Diego. She attended La Jolla High School and studied psychology at San Diego State University. She met Hugh in 2008 and in 2009 was named December’s Playmate of the Month.

That is pretty much the road map to marrying Hugh Hefner.  I guess we can wish the lovebirds well.
