Friday NCAA Sweet 16 Play of the Day

Marquette

Getting 4.5 points from North Carolina makes Marquette the play tonight in NCAA Sweet 16 action.

Marquette has come on late in the season as they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, and against ACC foes they are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games.

The Tar Heels are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite and other than Long Island, they aren't blowing teams out.

Look for Marquette to keep it close and cover.

Here are my predictions for the other three games tonight:

Take Richmond +10.5 vs. Kansas

Take Ohio St. -6 vs. Kentucky

and

Take VCU +4 vs. Florida St.

Good Luck!

Chris Brown Still Slated for 'Dancing With the Stars'

I'm a but surprised, but Dancing with the Stars producers are moving forward with Chris Brown's March 29 performance on the popular dance show.

Rumors surfaced on Thursday morning that ABC was going to pull the plug on the bad boy's appearance, but we are told that's not going to happen.

The ABC vs. Chris Brown controversy started on Tuesday when Brown shattered a dressing room window with a chair after an interview on Good Morning America. During that interview, Brown was asked repeatedly about his two-year-old assault against Rihanna which led to him erupting off camera moments later.

Chair throwing, window breaking and temper tantrums are not part of the family friendly 'Dancing.'

Brown has since apologized for the incident, and GMA has said they would invite the singer back on the morning show.

Brown was confirmed on DWTS long before heated attack, as of now he still we be on the show next week.

Man Fires Shots After Taco Bell Raises Burrito Prices

Wait until he tries the new nachos.

A Taco Bell drive-through customer who became enraged because of a price increase on Beefy Crunch Burritos fired a BB gun through the window at a manager on Sunday, police said.

As the restaurant's employees and customers hit the floor, the manager called police, and when officers arrived, the angry patron fired several shots at the police cars, the Police said.

The problem started because the burritos had been sold for 99 cents each as a promotion, but the man was apparently angry that the promotion had ended, and the price had gone up to $1.49.

The name of the 'taco rage' suspect has not been released because he had not yet been formally charged early Monday. Benavides said that the man will be charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, and that additional charges are possible.

The man did not get any tacos.

Thursday NCAA Sweet 16 Play of the Day

Butler

Butler getting 4.5 tonight from Wisconsin is like an early Christmas present.

For one thing, Butler doesn't lose basketball games, and hasn't in a while.  Also, can Wisconsin blow this team out?  No way.

A surprising trend that I love is that Butler is 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big Ten teams.  Take into consideration that the Badgers are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 neutral site games.

Take Butler and the 4.5 tonight, for a bonus take Buter and the money line, there is a good chance they will win the game.

Check back later today for my picks on the other three games tonight.

Here are the predictions for today's other games:

Take UCONN -1 vs. San Diego St.

Take Florida -3 vs. BYU

and

take Duke -8.5 vs. Arizona

Modern Family Quotes from "Boy's Night"

Cam and Mitchell have a gay night out, Haley babysits, and Phil and Claire confront their old, weird neighbor.  Nathan Lane guest stars.

Manny:  Hump Day, am I right Jay?

Manny:  Are the movie right available for that one?

Phil: Testosterone vs. Estrogen.

Phil: Yep, I'm not going over there.

Phil: Mr. Clezak is not a nice person.

Mitchell:  Saturday we are having dinner with Pepper, Longines, and Crispin. Our "Home Boys"

Cam: You mean "Homo Boys"

Cam: Haley is a sweet and fashionable girl.

Cam:  We'll just pop over to the Orient and get another one.

Luke:  We have oxygen, but we don't need tanks.

Claire: Honey, you have to stop watching the news.

Phil:  That and anything set with the backdrop of competitive cheerleader.

Phil: Now, it's so dark.

Haley: You just go and get your gay on.

Phil: I thought we were singing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Phil:  I'm going to walk like a man, fast as I can, right to that bar over there.  If you knew Frankie Valli, you'd be laughing right now.

Cam:  Richard Gere, I'll be the officer, don't be a gentleman.

Michell:  he doesn't know I'm this gay.

Longines:  He looks like that dentist you hooked up with in Laguna.

Jay:  Your name is Longines?

Longines:  I know, I never had a shot.

Mr. Clezak:  You're the guy who just broke into my house and fondled me.

Phil:  Oh God, he's seen my sexy dance!

Jay:  You're better than that Crispin.

Crispin:  Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.

Haley:  Maybe you think I'm shaped like a boy.

Jay:  You've never seen me a shower.  Don't go there.

Mitchell:  Rob Lowe!

Cam:  Where?

Haley:  They're gay, they know what shoes they own!

Pepper:  I hope you like blueberry scones and ...

Michell:  Give Pepper a big kiss for me.

Gloria:  That's someone's name, Pepper?

Pepper:  It's 2 hours not including our stop at the outlet mall.

Pepper:  How rich are you?

Mr. Clezak  Don't go throwing any parades, their onions.

Phil:  This so sweet.

Mr. Clezak:  Just don't start dancing.

Cam:  Are you talking about Rob Lowe?

Mitchell:  I think his good looks held him back.

Haley:  You were invading my 1st Amendment right to privacy.
