College Bowl Play of the Day: Independence Bowl

Air Force and Georgia Tech today in Shreveport.

Georgia Tech is down a bunch of players for this one.  Some injured and some suspended.  Air Force is only giving GA Tech 3 pts, it really should be more than that.

Both teams like to run the ball.  Georgia Tech leads the nation with 327 rushing yards per game. Air Force ranks second with 317.9 yards per game.  Air Force has been on a roll, winning their last three games.  Tech has lost four of its last five, including 42-34 in the season finale at archrival Georgia.

Look for Air Force to rack up some yards and points.  Take the Air Force.

Thursday College Football Play of the Night

VA Tech!

It's an ACC battle on Thursday night.  Georgia Tech heads up to Virginia Tech.  Before the season many thought this game would mean something to both teams.  At this point it means a lot more to the Hokies.

After a terrible start, Virginia Tech has rebounded and is in great position in the ACC.  They lead the Coastal division and can pt it away with a win tonight.

Georgia Tech has been inconsistent at best.  That all starts with their quarterback Josh Nesbitt.   Against Clemson. Nesbitt had two yards on 15 carries as Georgia Tech’s three-game winning streak was snapped.

GA Tech beat VA Tech last year, but no this time.  The Yellow Jackets are getting 13.5, but it won't be enough.  Taka VA Tech and give the points tonight.
