Small in a Good Way: Verbatim's Tuff-N-Tiny USB Drive

I thought I had seen small until I received a Verbatim Tuff-N-Tiny USB Drive.  Now I know what small is.  It is really only small in size as the USB drive comes in sizes from 2GB to 8GB. 

This small drive, with the thickness of a coin will fit in your wallet without you even noticing it.  Because of the SIP technology which these drive possess they are durable and resistant to dirt, water, and static electricity. 

For those of you that like keeping a USB drive on your key chain, there is a key ring lanyard included.  For those seeking privacy, there is a private area that is password protected on the drive for storing your sensitive data.  They work the same as your old USB drive except you load it upside down.  It may take a time or two to get used to this, but they work beautifully.  They range in price from about $20 up to about $50.  Get one and try it out, and experience what small is, at least in a USB drive.

Two of the young guns of the sport in this quarterfinal match.  Cilic coming off the big victory over Murray.  Del Potro has had a good Summer and is playing solid tennis.  I like Del Potro's mental intangibles, and the fact he can play long matches and sometimes seems to get stronger as the match goes on.  Should be some shotmaking  in this one.  A thriller.  Del Potro in 5.

I Was Watching a NHRA Drag Race and a Wrestling Match Broke Out

This is what happened on ESPN2 Sunday afternoon when 14 time Funny Car Champ John Force was accused of cheating on the coverage by rival Tony Pedregon.  The accusation first came from Cruz Pedergon, the series' current champion when he was about to be knocked out of the top 10 who qualify for the season end "Countdown". 

I know this may confusing to many of you, but when Force lost to teammate and Son-in-Law Robert Hight allowing Hight to pass Cruz the crap hit he fan, and the censors hit the ESPN2 airways.

Force smoked his tires at the start and Hight drove into the finals of the U.S. Nationals and NHRA's "Countdown".  After Force's Daughter Ashley Force defeated Tony Pedregon the other semi-final Tony and John Force had a heated exchange that would've made Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper Proud.  All that was missing on the episode of "Piper's Pit" was Mean Gene.  ESPN2 analysts Mike Dunn and Paul Page picked up the slack with Page trying to calm the situation and Dunn taking sides with the Pedregon Brothers.

ESPN2 was not going to cool the situation as they kept replaying the altercation, and went back and forth interviewing Tony and Force setting up a storyline and rivalry the rest of the season.

I have no problem with what John Force did.  NHRA competition officials investigated the possible "throwing" of the race and they had no findings.  The fact is, many teams including the Pedregon's have had their sponsors cut their funding and a mega team like John Force Racing is thriving better than most.  Some of the bitterness is coming because of jealousy.

Atlanta Firmly Behind Oudin

When it comes to tennis, it is no secret that Atlanta is a participation sport, not a spectator sport. Atlanta boasts the largest tennis league in the world, ALTA, with over 80,000 members.

The last week or so, tennis players and fans in Metro Atlanta have taken to the internet, television and mobile phones to keep up with one of their own, Melanie Oudin, as she makes her surprisng run through the draw at The U.S. Open.

Oudin's home club, The Racquet Club of The South has transformed itself into a giant tennis viewing venue during Oudin's matches. The club, co-owned by Oudin's coach, Brian de Villiers had all of its big screened televisions turned to Oudin vs. Petrova during Monday's round of 16 encounter.

Fans let out screams and gasps during the points, and when Oudin raised her arms in victory the room exploded. Racquet clubs weren't the only venues watching with anticipation. Sports bars throughout Atlanta that normally show football or Atlanta Braves games on their main screens were now showing women's tennis.

In a town where sports arguments are frequently debated on the radio and the newspapers, one consensus is the support shown to this 17 year old quarter finalist from Marietta, GA.

A great evening match.  Serena is the defending champ and possibly the odds on favorite right now.  Pennetta will be feeling confident after her comeback victory Sunday Night.  Pennetta will not be afraid of Serena, but Serena will have a little too much for Flavia.  Should be a close 3 setter, with Serena advancing.
