Snow Jam 2014

Once again Atlanta wasn't ready for a snow/ice storm even though all the meteorologists predicted it.

Students stranded at schools. cars left abandoned on the roads and it taking 2 hrs to go a few miles.

World Class Tennis in Atlanta

The BB&T Atanta Open has been going on all week in Atlanta.

Despite a few rain showers, the weather has been very nice.

Two good semifinals today as John Isner plays Lleyton Hewitt and Ryan Harrison squares off with Kevin Anderson.

Final Four in Atlanta

The two games on Saturday may not have been masterpieces if they were works of art, but they were sure intriguing.

Both went down to the wire and once again the officials had some say in the outcome.

Enjoyed my view.

Officials Announced for 2013 Final Four

The pool of officials was announced for the 2013 Final Four in Atlanta.

John Cahill, Tony Greene, Karl Hess, Lee Jones, John Higgins, Randy McCall and Mark Whitehead have all officiated in previous Final Fours, while Mike Eades, Doug Simmons and Terry Wymer will have the opportunity to work their first semifinal or championship game.

The officials were recommended by John Adams, the NCAA's director of officiating, and approved Monday by the Division I men's basketball committee.

Three-man crews will work each game with a fourth official on standby. The assignments for the semifinals will be made Saturday morning with the championship officials announced Monday.
