More Colleges Adding Football

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) highlighted today that four college football teams will take the field for the first time this season. Including the seven other colleges and universities that will take the field in the coming seasons, the number of schools among all NCAA divisions, the NAIA and independents offering football currently stands at 775.

Alabama Opens as 6.5 Favorite Over Clemson

BetDSI opened the Alabama Crimson Tide as a 6.5-point favorite versus the Clemson Tigers in the CFP National Championship Game. The game's over/under is 61. 

 

This matchup marks the first time since 2011 that two undefeated teams are playing for the national championship. It is also the first time in FBS history two 14-0 teams will square off.

- The only other time two 14-0 teams played against each other in Division I college football came in 1996 when Marshall beat Montana in the FCS Championship Game.
