Day 12: U.S. Open Match to Watch

Venus Williams(USA)[3]	vs.	Kim Clijsters(BEL)[2]

If we don't end up having a Nadal/Federer final on Sunday, this could be the match of the tournament.  Clijsters is the defending champ and has been winning without playing her best tennis.

Venus also has been a bit erratic.  I expect both women to be on their games for a close three set marathon on Friday.  I think Clijsters may be the more match tough player right now, and that could be the difference.

Prediction:  Clijsters in 3.
