Walmart with a HP Laptop for $298

The pre Black Friday sales are up and running.  Walmart enters the fray with a strong showing a $298 HP laptop.  Not a netbook, but a 15.6" screen laptop. 

The tech specs for the laptop include:

Intel Celeron 900 (2.2GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz FSB)

Windows 7 Home Premium

3072MB DDR2 System Memory

250GB(5400rpm) Hard Drive

802.11b/g WLAN

LightScribe SuperMulti 8x DVD +-R/RW Drive w/Double Layer Support

15.6" Diagonal High-Definition HP BrightView display

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with up to 1309MB total available memory

3 USB 2.0 Ports

Not a powerhouse laptop by any means since it has an outdated Celeron processor, but a good starter computer or one for kids.  It does come with Windows 7, which is a plus.  On a side not Walmart also has an Acer laptop this week with a Dual-Core processor for $348.  $298 for a HP laptop, I guess you can't go wrong.

Sales starts Saturday at 8am, and each Walmore will have at least 10, good luck.
