Pool Checklist: Swimsuit, Towel, Tanning Lotion ... Kindle

A little over a month ago, I brought you the news that The Four Seasons in Washington D.C. was providing Kindles for guest to use while enjoying a fine breakfast at the hotel.  The Kindles were loaded with newspapers to browse from every major city, and guests have been quite appreciative of the gesture.

Today, news that another Four Seasons property, this one in Miami, or Brickell to be exact are offering Kindles for guests to use at poolside.  Yes, work on your tan, cool off in the water and enjoy the cutting edge technology of a Kindle.  The Kindles are preloaded with bestsellers and classics, so guests can't download their own selections, but what is offered will be a wide variety of books for all tastes.

This month's selections include:  "Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin" and "Last Lion: The Fall and Rise of Ted Kennedy."  Not sure if the choices will change monthly, but I'll offer some suggestions on future books to include:  How about "Beach Road" by James Patterson, "Swimming to Catalina" by Stuart Woods, or look better at the pool by reading "The South Beach Diet Cookbook" by Arthur Agatson.  All on your poolside Kindle, while sipping on your Fizzler on the Roof.  Pass the lotion please.
