Halloween Costume Ideas for 2010

How many Tiger Woods' masks are we going to see this Halloween?  A lot by many reports.

The top Halloween costumes ideas for 2010 are not the traditional comic book and scary movie characters.  In 2010, the most popular costumes are based on television reality shows, political figures and other famous or infamouscelebrities.

Tiger Woods is one of the most in demand costumes complete with golf gear and mask.  Some masks even feature a black eye and missing teeth.  Adding a bunch of women to the mix could make this costume even more appealing at a party.

One of the biggest selling costumes comes from the cast of the hit MTV show 'Jersey Shore'.  Both male and female costumes are being shipped to retailers and include DJ Pauly D, Mike The Situation, J-Woww and Snooki.  These costumes are not for the faint of heart with revealing attire included with outrageous hair styles.

Another popular costume comes from the designer wear of Lady Gaga who over the past year has worn some incredibly odd outfits.  Replicating these costumes will be most difficult as many were one of a kind and covered either most or almost none of her body.  The most famous was her 'Meat Dress' which caused an uproar from animal rights activists.  Who would wear that?

If none of these costumes ideas makes you jump for the stores, there are some standard 'cannot go wrong' type outfits including monsters such as Frankenstein, Dracula and the Mummy.  Many people also pick television or movie characters such as an avatar or even professions in everyday life like a police officer, fire fighter or doctor.

My sons have been wearing those masks, too! I don't know the reason why but, they just looked so happy with that kind of scary masks. As we all know, kids do love Halloween season. They got to strut their weird and oh-so-scary costumes, and they got to eat tons of sweets, too! But after such a crazy event, I take them to their dentist (Hendersonville, TN) so that they won't have Halloween cavities!
