Minor League Hockey Team Plans "Charlie Sheen Night"

The actor has dominated the media with eccentric interview after eccentric interview, and has unleashed some great new catch phrases.  Winning!

The always fun world of minor league sports marketing took notice and the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors have come up with a promotion called "Charlie Sheen Night".

Not sure if there will be any pornstars present or if Major League will be shown during the intermissions, but here's what I know about the promotion.

• Free admission for anyone who brings a clean drug test, maybe Lindsay Lohan will come.

• Ditch the Condors hat and pop on a fedora or dress like any Sheen movie character and your ticket is just $2.50.  How many Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughns will show up?

• If you're one of the first 1,000 males you get a Sheen face on a stick mask.

• Bakersfield is also attempting a Guinness World Record of reaching a million followers on Twitter in less than 25 hours and 17 minutes, the amount of time it took Sheen to hit one million when he joined this past week.  Should they break the record, they'll let Sheen rename the team.  How does the Bakersfield Goddesses sound?

The Condors also note that anyone bringing $2 million -- the amount Sheen was making per episode of "Two and a Half Men" -- can own the team.

It would be great if Sheen himself showed up.
