Man Steals What Must Be Good Ribs
I've had some good ribs, but what's with this guy?
A man who stuffed ribs in his pants in a Carlisle, Pa., grocery store Sunday is in police custody, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Donald Noone, 65, was “highly intoxicated” when he attempted to stuff $20.48 worth of ribs from a Giant grocery store into his pants, Carlisle police said.
This isn’t the first time Noone attempted to steal ribs while intoxicated, according to the police. He was apprehended on May 22 at another Giant grocery store for the same crime.
Since this is the second time, the theft charge will be considered a second-degree misdemeanor, Lt. Michael Dzezinski said. While jail time is possible, Dzezinski said it is unlikely for these offenses.
The rib aficionado will is also charged with public drunkenness, the Los Angeles Times reports. This will be the sixth public drunkenness citation for Noone in less than five months.
