Kindle Pick of the Week: We're All A Mess, It's OK

Amy Lyle's second book, kind of picks up from where her first effort left off- and it's "OK."

Over one hundred contributors share their failures, setbacks and most embarrassing moments for this compilation of hilarity with the hopes that their stories would give the embarrassed and struggling souls some comic and inspirational relief.

Life is riddled with pain, disappointments, and failures, but given enough time, they're folly. "We're All A Mess. It's OK" captures life's most absurd moments honestly and without a filter. It's filled with funny essays and one-liners that highlight the grainier sides of being human and imperfect.

The book covers everything from horrible internet dating experiences, the strangest of co-workers, vacations that went array, to the worst holiday gifts of all time. It's an anthology of real-life disasters.
This feel-good read will make you forget about all your issues and problems and focus on Amy and her "friends."
From "dating disasters" to "food flubs" and "adventures in parenting," Amy and her merry band of lunatics (and I can call them that because I know some of them) keep setting themselves up for embarrassment and failure, over and over again.
The anecdotes are cute, funny, and plentiful in this book you should read at least twice to get its full effect. Hey it may even inspire you to write down some of your own funny moments!
I championed Amy's first book and this one is even better!
I don't want to give any of the "inspiring" stories away, but the main takeaway from this book is everthing will eventually be "OK."
Get the Kindle version here and there also is a paperback available that makes a great holiday gift!
