AT&T 5G Live in Atlanta and Devices Coming

Today, AT&T announced that their mobile 5G network is now live in 12 cities, including here in Atlanta. They will also offer a limited amount of mobile 5G devices to select customers beginning Friday, Dec. 21.

 

The full list of mobile 5G cities includes: Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Louisville, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Raleigh, San Antonio and Waco.

 

This initial device offer will provide select business customers and consumers with AT&T's first mobile 5G device, the NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot, plus mobile 5G data usage at no cost for at least 90 days.  Consumers can express their interest in mobile 5G by visiting att.com/5G/consumer. Business customers can visit att.com/5GforBiz.  

 

The NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot will run on our mobile 5G+ network (For background – 5G+ is the name of our mobile 5G network using mmWave spectrum.).
