Some Fun Super Bowl Prop Bets

Super Bowl betting stats and odds courtesy BetOnline.ag, one of the world’s largest sportsbooks. Props involving the National Anthem duration, Tom Brady, Joe Buck, the shortest touchdown in the game, and the color of the liquid poured on the coach are the five most popular prop bets since the Super Bowl markets opened (more info below).

The point total for the game opened at 51, but is now at 54. The over is getting nearly 90 percent of the bets. “This is the most lopsided betting on the total that I can remember,” according to BetOnline’s Sportsbook Brand Manager Dave Mason.

Mason says hundreds of props bets (i.e.: side bets) are currently offered including National Anthem and Halftime show specials, Trump/political bets, cross-sport (MLB, Oscars, PGA, NCAAB), and for the game/players/awards.

Mason also shared some of the betting stats for the point spread, moneyline and total, and the most popular prop bets to date, including:

Point Spread

49ers +1 -- 38% of bets

Chiefs -1 -- 62% of bets

Moneyline
