Kindle Free Pick of the Week: Exposure

One of the top books in the Kindle Store right now with plenty of positive reviews.  I'm looking forward to reading this one.

When your worst fear comes true.Someone is watching Kaycee Raye. But who will believe her? Everyone knows she's a little crazy. Kaycee's popular syndicated newspaper column pokes fun at her own paranoia and multiple fears. The police in her small town are well aware she makes money writing of her experiences. Worse yet, she has no proof of the threats. Pictures of a dead man mysteriously appear in her home-then vanish before police arrive. Multisensory images flood Kaycee's mind. Where is all this coming from? Maybe she is going over the edge. High action and psychological suspense collide in this story of terror, twists, and desperate faith. The startling questions surrounding Kaycee pile high. Her descent to answers may prove more than she can survive.

Brandilyn did an excellent job of creating a character with fears many people can relate to. Kaycee Raye may have fears that seem extreme to some readers, but all of us can

Brandilyn is the queen of hooks. As soon as she reaches a point of high tension, she turns to another plot. And when I thought I knew exactly what was happening, she twisted the plots together beautifully and in an unpredictable way. Frankly, this is her best book to date, and I have enjoyed most of them. If you love suspense, you have to read this book. But here's your warning: have a free day to dedicate to reading this page-turning.

A couple great reviews...enjoy this one.

Monday's Bowl Pick: The Fiesta Bowl

Two top 10 teams.  Boise St. and TCU.  With this game we get to see how good each of these teams really are. I think TCU is better, and I would've like to see a TCU/Iowa or TCU/Florida matchup, but this one is still interesting.

Take TCU.

Bowl record so far; 20-10

75 Foot Shot Gives Gators Victory at NC St.

Yes, a University of Florida miracle that doesn't involve Tim Tebow.

Florida junior Chandler Parsons hit a 75-foot 3-pointer Sunday in Raleigh to give the Gators a 62-61 win over North Carolina St.  It happened when N.C. St.'s  Farnold Degand missed a free throw. Parsons grabbed the rebound, took four steps and heaved the ball from three-quarters court.

    No Bowl Games Today

No college football today, but plenty of NFL action, most of it meaningless.  You may be in the championship game of your fantasy football league today.  If that is the case you are pulling out your hair wondering who is going to play today, and what teams are actually going to try.

Here are some of the NFL games to watch, either because the teams are playing for something, or too see how these teams are looking heading into the playoffs.

The N.Y. Giants vs. Minnesota - Does Favre have anything left in the tank for the Vikes?

Philadelphia and Dallas - Both teams playoff bound!

Baltimore at Oakland - Baltimore needs a win.

Bengals at Jets - Last game at Giant's Stadium.  Jets need a win, they should get it with Bengals playing scrubs.
