"Wireless Wednesday" to Return, Now on 92.9 The Game

Sports tech geeks and gadget and app hounds, I'm pleased to announce that my popular "Wireless Wednesday' tech segment makes its return to the FM airways in Atlanta this, and every Wednesday morning, on FM 92.9 The Game.

But, unless you are an insomniac, early riser, or work third shift, you'll have to set your alarm clock.

I'll be joining with Mitch Evans and The Mitch Evans Experience for "Wireless Wednesday" every Wednesday morning at 5 a.m.  Yes, 5 a.m.

I'll be getting 15 minutes instead if 5 or 6, and we'll talk the hottest apps, new sports technology and gadgets each week.  Also, you can call or text and ask a question.  Maybe we'll even preview my weekly CBS Atlanta "Tailgate Fan" column.

Mitch and I are both excited, and we'll have fun.

Mitch has a great show that runs from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. each weekday morning.

92.9 Dave-FM to Become 92.9 The Game

"Wireless Wednesday" will go on hiatus for the time being as Dave-FM as it turns into 92.9 The Game, going all sports talk.  Atlanta radio is in a constant state of change.

92.9 The Game was announced today as was this info on Talkers Magazine

Set to debut in mid-October, CBS Radio’s new FM sports talk outlet – the soon-to-be-former Triple A WZGC, Atlanta will take the handle “SportsRadio 92.9 The Game.” Media chatter around Atlanta is that the station may reveal its lineup as early as next week in order to give the sales staff something concrete to pitch to clients prior to the launch. Earlier media reports alluded to the possibility that “Two Live Stews” Doug and Ryan Stewart – recently dropped from crosstown WQXI “790 The Zone” – might pop up on the station but TALKERS sources indicate that will not be the case. The programming philosophy we’re hearing about for this station is being termed as “fresh.” Stay tuned!
