Debaucherous 'Santa' Busted for Selling Alcohol
Even "Santa" has been a bit naughty this year.
Mike Busey, who fancies himself as the "King of Rock and Roll Debauchery," was arrested early Saturday during a house party at his Florida home he fondly calls the Sausage Castle.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Busey, who is the nephew of actor Gary Busey, was booked into the Osceola County jail on charges of selling alcohol without a licence.
The paper says that on Friday night, an undercover investigator with the Osceola County Sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Team visited the Sausage Castle which is located in St. Cloud.
After paying the $20 cover charge for "Mike Busey's End of the World Sexy Santa Holiday B-Day" party, the deputy stopped by the bar and bought a beer, according to Busey's arrest report.
The report said Busey, whose real name is Michael Andrew Ward, was standing next to the unlicensed bar but made no effort to stop the bartender from making the illegal sale to the deputy and other party guests.
After bonding out of jail Saturday afternoon, Ward sent a tweet to his nearly 9,000 followers, "Last Night I Got Arrested For Throwing A EPIC Party!" and thanked his guests for attending.
He included an Instagram photo of himself sitting in the back of a cop car sporting a Santa costume.
