Alabama Opens as Touchdown Favorite

Alabama opens as TD favorite

Offensive fireworks are expected at the CFP National Championship between Alabama and Ohio State.

SportsBetting.com opened the Crimson Tide as 7-point favorites, and the over/under of 75.5 points is the second-largest in CFP history.

When the Buckeyes and Tide met in the 2015 CFP semis, the teams combined to score 77 points. That game went well over the 58-point total, and Ohio State won as a 7.5-point underdog, which is still the biggest upset in CFP history.

Bets on NFC East Victories

A bad season for the NFC East.

The NFC East is on pace to win fewer than 20 games this season, which would be a record.

Since the NFL moved to a four-division system in 2002, the worst mark for combined wins in one division is 22, which was set by the NFC South in 2014.

The oddsmakers at SportsBetting.ag have set the NFC East combined win total at 22.5 games, and the division champ with 6.5 wins.

The Cowboys, who lead their dubious division at 2-4, have failed to cover a single spread this season.
