Great to have SAC 2018 in Atlanta this week.
The South is the fastest-growing region in North America for automobile manufacturing and has the third largest gross domestic product in the world.
The Southern Automotive Conference (SAC) Oct. 3-5 at Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta is aiming at becoming an unforgettable experience. The event will provide networking opportunities, world-class speakers and breakout sessions designed to fuel careers and drive business forward.
Organizers expect more than 1,800 attendees, 300 exhibitors and a dozen-plus foreign manufacturer pavilions, which would make the event the largest SAC conference to date. The 2017 record-setting conference in Birmingham, Alabama, attracted 1,200 registered attendees and more than 180 exhibitors.
The event’s goals call for building on the success of previous Southern Automotive Conferences by adding new features and continuing to improve the experience for attendees.
Most of us just instinctively put on our seat-belts and never think about then again as we drive or ride.
The only locked on, self-enclosed, manually guided, childproof seatbelt cutting device.
The CutNGo is a childproof device that cuts your seat belt safely and quickly. It can also be used to break your window to escape your vehicle faster. Two reasons why this is one of the most effective safety tools ever!
CutNGo is designed as a complete awareness kit, with included stickers that show you exactly where to strike your vehicle's window so you can escape quickly in the event of an emergency. First responders will also see your vehicle is equipped with CutNGo if you need assistance.
Stephen P. Souders, The Cut N Go company owner and inventor, said he got the idea for his product a couple of years ago when watching a news report about a policeman wading through water to help save people trapped in a car by their seat belts.
“That was always my fear during all of my driving through the years,” Souders said. “The idea hit me like a brick and I went to my dining room table and drew it up, the logo and all. The Cut N Go is always there when you need it. It's the only locked on, self-enclosed, manually guided, childproof seat belt cutter on the market. The quality of the material of my product will withstand the force of an accident. The Cut N Go can be moved anywhere on the belt to be more easily accessed and used in wide range of car accident situations. The fact that it is self-enclosed makes it safe around children. At no time can a child access the blade. With the handle design, I feel anybody can use it whether you have big hands, small hands, fat fingers, skinny fingers, and maybe even injured fingers. It’s truly a complete personal vehicle extraction kit. My mission is to help save lives through producing a unique product.”
Step 1: When needed, simply lift the CutNGo into position and open. It's so simple, that in the moment you need it, you will know exactly what to do.
Step 2: To cut the seatbelt and break free, just pull the lever away from you.
Step 3: If you need to escape through the window, use the built-in tungsten carbide tip to easily break the car window and escape in seconds. This is safer and more effective than using your hand, elbow, shoe, or anything else we've heard people try to use in these dire situations.
The Cut N Go has launched an Indiegogo campaign, https://www.indiegogo.com/ projects/the-cut-n-go-the- safest-seatbelt-cutting- device-cars-family#/, to spread awareness about their product among consumers and the investment community.

Riding on the trend of rising lifestyle consumption of men in their 20s and 30s, Extrove.com launched today to become one of the most-consulted online magazines that feature articles and reviews of different gadgets for men.
“A couple of decades ago, new product launches and ad campaigns mainly target the female demographic – marketing grooming products, clothes and shoes. Fast forward to the present, we see the same type of products but only this time they are for men who are mostly in their 20s and 30s. This market segment, which used to be ignored by marketers, are known to have a significant amount of disposable income.
“Catering to this revitalized market segment, we will provide articles and reviews that cover topics like gaming, music, fitness, sports, dating, fashion, cars, gadgets, and other stuff that interests the typical bachelor,” Marco Martinez, the founding editor of Extrove.com proclaims.
Of more than 200 articles already posted on the site, about half of these are about music and fitness. Take for instance the recent articles: Top Ten Beatles Songs Ever and Workout songs to Get You Pumped for Gym.
The articles are written by men with the same interest as the target readers. A team of three writers scour lifestyle sites, blogs, RSS feeds and company websites to capture the latest trends and feature new products and services on a daily basis.
“The great thing about Extrove.com is not only do they feature cool stuff and gadgets for men, but also allow me to interact with a community through Facbook and Twitter,” said Rod Dempsey.
This early, the website has already gained praises from its readers. As one person states, “Extrove.com is a great website for browsing through cool stuff. I think it would be a great help for the ladies since they have this general perception that men are finicky gift receivers.”
