The Miami Dolphins travel to Kansas City today looking for their first win. They are getting 4.5 points and some people think this is a trap game.
I don't see it, the Dolphins have been dreadful on the field and ATS. I don't see the fact that they are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. AFC and 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall being a good sign, so Kansas City, which sits 4-3 and 2-1 at home should win this by at least a TD.
Go with the Chiefs.
It's the Raven and the upstart Chiefs today at 1.
The Ravens are favored by 3 at Kansas City, but I still like like Baltimore.
The Chiefs have had a great season but they rely on a running attack that the Ravens shoul be able to shut down.
Joe Flacco and Baltimore are in the postseason for the third consecutive year. Aside from a Week 2 defeat to Cincinnati, the Ravens’ other losses were to New England, Atlanta and Pittsburgh – teams that sport a collective 39-9 record.
The teams have played just twice in the past five seasons, with Baltimore winning both. Flacco threw for 307 yards and three TDs as the Ravens beat visiting Kansas City (minus an injured Cassel) 48-24 in the 2009 season opener.
Another note is the Chiefs are 7-1 at home this season, but the Ravens counter that by being 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.
Take the Ravens and give the 3 today.
