Anderson Cooper Attacked in Egypt
All you need to know here is he somehow survived and was on the air to broadcast moments later.
CNN's Anderson Cooper was attacked in Egypt on Wednesday -- but they have given him the option to have extra security said a CNN official.
Anderson was punched by 10 pro-Mubarak supporters near Tahrir Square, his camera crew also came under attack.
Here was Cooper's Tweet after the incident: "Got roughed up by thugs in pro-mubarak crowd..punched and kicked repeatedly. Had to escape. Safe now."
Can MSNBC quickly hire Keith Olbermann back and send him Egypt?
