College Football Playoff Championship Coming to Atlanta in 2018

The College Football Playoff announced on Wednesday that Atlanta has been selected to host its first College Football National Championship in 2018. The game is scheduled to be played on Jan. 8, 2018, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Colts Try Using Play off Tecmo Bowl

I knew I saw this formation somewhere before.

On Sunday night the Indianapolis Colts attempted the worst play in the history of football. No hyperbole here: it was truly the nadir of the sport. Please find someone who thought it was smart.

Trailing by six points to the Patriots -- and very much in the game -- they motioned a bunch of guys to the right sideline with Griff Whalen under center and safety Colt Anderson behind him.

Whalen inexplicably snapped the ball and was swarmed by Patriots defenders. It looked like Bill Belichick guessed the play in a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.
