The custom made cedar stand has two slots.  The slot furthest from the speaker works very well with the Apple iPad case, in addition to, many other of the thinner cases.  This slot also works well with no case if you want more angle for viewing.  The slot closest to the speaker works well for the iPad with no case. 

 

The iPad can be positioned in both vertical and horizontal modes.  The speaker is placed in the customized circular area in the front of the stand.  In horizontal mode, the cord would go to the left to plug into the headphone jack and in vertical mode the cord will go to the right.  Please see images of how to place the ipad in the slot and still have the cord reach the headphone jack.

The stand comes with feet to protect surfaces. The stand should also work well with many other tablet computers on the market currently and others to come.
