For Lindsay, it's Back to Court

Lindsay Lohan goes back to court Friday to face the judge and get the verdict - for violating her probation and failing two separate drug tests. The star, recently released from a 17-day jail stint and a shorter turn in rehab, tested positive for cocaine and amphetamines.

Per the terms of her probation, Linds could be sentenced to a 30-day jail sentence for each infraction. However, new courthouse rumors suggest that Lohan won’t spend even a single night in the pokey. Lindsay’s crimes are misdemeanors, which means bail will be set - and it will definitely be paid ASAP.

But that doesn’t mean the actress is totally out of the woods. Lindsay Lohan will go before the judge again in October for her probation violation hearing, where it is very likely she will be sentenced to 30 days for the first positive drug test (cocaine). Even so, the LA jails are still highly overcrowded, so it’s doubtful Linds will serve even one day of her 30-day sentence.

Are the likes of Lindsay and Paris ever goin to have to face justice?

Lindsay Lohan News of the Day

1) Lindsay hires a new Manager - Lindsay Lohan has reportedly hired Britney Spears's manager Larry Rudolph in an attempt to re-establish her career.

The New York Post reports that Rudolph has put the Machete actress on "lockdown" in order to resolve her career issues and relaunch her image, despite having previously refused to work with the 24-year-old.

A source told the newspaper: "She's telling everyone she is more than ready for work and people should hire her now. She's on lockdown."

Lohan has spoken of her desire to return to acting in her interview with Vanity Fair, saying: "I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a damn good actress... And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible - but that's what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes."

Lindsay Lohan's manager, it's a tought job, but someone has to do it.

2) Lindsay involved in hit and run - Lindsay Lohan could be in trouble again, she has allegedly been involved in a hit-and-run incident after she bumped into a woman pushing a stroller with her Maserati and then sped off.

Radar Online claims that two "onlookers" identified Lohan as driving the Italian sports car in her West Hollywood neighbourhood on Wednesday. She reportedly hit a woman and her child after "failing to look both ways before turning" then sped off without checking on the woman.

The woman and her child were then able to cross the street safely and appeared to be uninjured.
