The 2019 Smart Kitchen Summit opened today in Seattle.
This is the show's fifth year and it is bigger and better than ever. There are more than 600 people attending to see and hear from 90 executives presenting, chatting, and discussing the future of food tech from the SKS stage.
Various industry leaders took to the stage holding interviews on topics like the future of protein, food robots, venture funding in food tech and, of course, the state of the smart kitchen. We aslo saw the next generation of food tech stars at our SKS Startup Showcase and Future Food competitions.

It was a crappy situation for a mother and her sick son.
She was trying to get her son to the doctor because of a stomach bug and they were kicked off public transportation by the driver because of the stinky diaper.
