Fresh Off Super Bowl, Madonna to Tour

Tickets for Madonna 's world tour will go on sale on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10am Gmt. Following her high profile Super Bowl performance on Sunday night, Madonna will embark on a 24 date world tour across the globe, followed by a further 25 dates in North America. The global leg of the tour, which starts on May 29, 2012 in Tel Aviv will pass through South America and Australia, in which, according to BBC News, Madonna has not performed for 20 years.

The last world tour that Madonna ventured on was the Sticky and Sweet string of dates in 2008, which reportedly grossed around 250 million ($395 million) over the two years that it ran. Ticket prices for the 2012 world tour range from around $63, to $197, with tickets for the Hyde Park concert in London starting at $110 per person.
