Week 13 NFL Play of the Day: Washington Redskins

I know they haven't been great, but the Redskins are getting 3 points for a game at home today against the Jets.

This looks like a low scoring field goal game, so those 3 points are key.

The Redskins beat the Seahawks last week and they maybe is the sign of good things.

Take the Redskins and the points on Sunday.

Alert - Haynesworth Passes Conditioning Test

Finally.

On the tenth day of camp, Albert Hayneworth passed the Washington Redskins conditioning test Saturday morning, ending a daily soap opera that had overshadowed the first week-and-a-half of training camp.

Haynesworth arrived early at Redskins Park and completed both 300-yard back-and-fourth shuttle runs in the required times — and with no controversial bathroom break.

To pass, Hayneworth had to complete the first run in 70 seconds or less, the second run in 73 seconds or less. Each run consists of 12 back-and-forth 25-yard sprints.  He can now put on pads and practice with the rest of the team.

Haynesworth Day 9: Nothing New

Nothing new to report on the Albert Haynesworth front.

He again did not take the team's conditioning test on Friday. Haynesworth was a spectator at the morning practice, one day after an MRI exam.  Nothing was found on the MRI.

Not surprisingly, The Wasington Post reported there is growing discontent with Haynesworth among the Redskins. The defensive lineman, whom coach Mike Shanahan has barred from practice until he passes the conditioning test, has not come close to passing the test since July 30.

Haynesworth has been working with coaches individually.
