Week 12: Fantasy Football Buy, Sell or Hold

Another week of come from behind wins, blowouts, and bad coaching. Just a typical week in the NFL. By now, your fantasy team should fit into one of these three categories: 1) Playing out the string, 2) Trying to make the playoffs, or 3) Trying to solidify your playoff positioning. Let's hope you are in groups 2 or 3.

Here's a Thanksgiving Week Buy, Sell, or Hold.

Buy:

Ben Roethlisberger,QB Steelers - Big Ben is hitting his stride. In week 11, he threw for 275 yards and 3 scores while adding another 55 yards and a touchdown running against a decent Raider's defense. Ben is a must start.

Drew Brees, QB Saints - He struggled early on in the season, but he should put up great numbers the rest of the way. He threw for 382 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Seahawks.

Santonio Holmes, WR Jets - He keeps getting fed by an improved Mark Sanchez. Holmes blistered his way to 126 receiving yards and two scores.

Thomas Jones, RB Chiefs - Jones is really coming on with a lethal Chiefs running attack. He has a quiet 644 yards on the season with 5 TD's. He next plays the Seahawks, and Jones always has big games against Seattle.

Packer's Defense - Dom Capers is doing a masterful job with a D that has had a ton of injuries. The Pack forces turnovers and they allow less than 15 points a game to opponents. I guess it helps when you have Clay Matthews and Charles Woodson anchoring the D.

Sell:

Viking's Defense - Not only is their offense sputtering, the defense hasn't help up their end of the bargain either.

Brett Favre, QB Vikings - If you haven't figured out he's a dud yet, you deserve him. Enough said.

Marshawn Lynch, RB Seahawks - He's done next to nothing since he arrived in Seattle. Not a viable starter.

Cedric Benson, RB Bengals - Benson has been ok for the Bengals, but don't expect much out of him this week as they take on the Jets.

Knowshon Moreno, RB Broncos - Only 58 yards last night. He might be running out of gas, consider starting someone else.

Hold:

Tony Romo, QB Cowboys. Word is the injured Romo is throwing a little bit. He could be back in 2-3 weeks. Keep him on your roster if you can and are making a playoff drive. He could be a valuable start for you in the post season.
