Limpert Tech "SullyCast" on ALT 105.7 and iHeartRadio - 5/4/19 - Atlanta's Top Social Media Locations

Atlanta is a social media MECCA

Where are Instagram and social media snaps being taken?

Rick and Sully discuss:

1. The Jackson Street Bridge

The Jackson Street Bridge, Jackson St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, is one of the most iconic locations in Atlanta, because of its panoramic view of Atlanta’s skyline. You might have seen its view on AMC’s show “The Walking Dead” or scrolling down your Instagram feed. From the bridge, located in the Historic Old Fourth Ward, you can spot Atlanta’s prominent skyscrapers, such as SunTrust Plaza and Bank of America Plaza.

2.   Lenox Mall

Various places inside and out of Lenox. Selections at Urban Outfitters or Zara prove to be popular.

3. Atlanta Botanical Gardens

The grounds of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta, GA 30309, is an expansive space filled with spots to take a breathtaking photo. Take your pick of its many gardens, such as the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden and Skyline Garden. Plant sculptures, like the Earth Goddess, also photograph beautifully.

4.  Atlanta Sign  outside State Farm Arena

The Hawks may stink, but the Atlanta sign being in the background is a popular picture location in the ATL.

5. THE MUSIC ROOM BOOMBOX DOORS

327 Edgewood Ave SE. Atlanta, GA 30312

6. The Big Chicken

Found in Marietta – north of Atlanta – The Big Chicken has been a roadside icon for more than 50 years. Constructed in 1963, this 56ft-tall steel structure, atop a KFC, is at Cobb Parkway and Roswell Road. Recent renovations have given the location new life. Night or sunset (after the lights are turned on) is the best time to capture it.
