Going out of the box a little this weekend, with a special guest, Ebony Alexis, one of the participants from the Netflix original show, Love is Blind.

Part reality show, part social experiment, Love is Blind wrapped season one and season two is casting. Season one is a popular watch on Netflix.

Rick talks about the show and more with Ebony Alexis.

The series follows thirty men and women hoping to find love. For ten days in a speed dating format, the men and women date each other in different "pods" where they can talk to each other, but not see each other. Whenever they decided, the men were able to propose to the woman they want to marry. After the proposal, and meeting face to face for the first time, the engaged couples headed to a couples retreat in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. During this trip they spent time getting to know their partners, and were able to meet the other couples participating in the experiment.

Following the couples retreat, the engaged couples moved to the same apartment complex back in Atlanta. While at the apartments, they all met their partners' families and explored their partners' living conditions. At the altar on the day of the wedding, the engaged couples carried out wedding ceremonies and needed to make their final decisions at the altar about whether to split up or get married, answering the question "Is love blind?"

Ebony, also known as “EA” is a Tampa Florida native and currently resides in Atlanta. While obtaining a degree in Journalism, due to her love of writing, she also developed a passion for being in front of the camera.

Her personality makes it easy for Ebony to connect with almost anyone. In addition to being a journalist, Ebony has juggled many talents. Her modeling career launched her into all areas of high fashion, commercial, print, television, promotional and showroom work. Modeling and acting also have allowed her the opportunity to work with a variety of noteworthy clients with her PR company.

Ebony loves children and worked in childcare for several years and has obtained numerous certifications in Early Childhood Development courses. She is currently a professional Makeup Artist, Hairstylist and Bartender.

Although Ebony didn't find love on the show, she was great to talk with this week!
