Limpert Tech "SullyCast" on ALT 105.7 - Tech for National Bike Month
Since May of 1956, The League of American Bicyclists has sponsored National Bike Month “to showcase the many benefits of bicycling—and encourage more folks to give biking a try.” It's also a great way to meet other cycling enthusiasts, be environmentally friendly, avoid commuting traffic and save money on gas.
Each year, National Bike Month grows in momentum and offers more ways to celebrate, from commuting challenges to biking adventures in the U.S. and beyond. We’ve rounded up some of the best ways you can observe this month, and save money, exercise more and avoid traffic woes along the way.
Rick and Sully are here to talk some of the latest bike tech that will make your next ride safer.

Cosmo Bike also prevents - for its party piece, it integrates signal lights, which the user can choose to activate either automatically via SatNav, manually on the app or through a remote control positioned on the bike handle. 5. A great bicycling app... MapMyRide
http://www.mapmyride.com/us/
Easy to use, MapMyRide. With years of experience under its belt, the app continues to outshine its competitors. Aside from live-tracking, it allows you to fully customize routes from scratch, leapfrogging from one point to the next to create a unique path with a simple, user-friendly interface.
MapMyRide also lets you peruse other users’ favorite routes and shuffle through previous rides you’ve cycled to decide if you want to do them again with audio prompting. Although the app doesn’t showcase as many social features as Strava, it’s the clear winner in terms of simple map creation.
