Looks like Jeff Bezos and Amazon are ready to take the Kindle to the next level with the release of the Kindle for PC App.
If there is one thing for sure, Amazon is keeping up with its promise of being able to read books off the Kindle Store on all types of devices. Now anyone with a PC is able to take advantage of all the features of the Kindle.

The App works great for me so far. I don't envision doing most of my reading on my laptop or netbook, but if I decide to it's there for me. My Kindle has become a lot more convenient, and a not added cost or trouble.
I'm sure tons of people who don't yet own a Kindle will try this app and many will opt for a purchase of a Kindle 2, or DX. Many won't, but the Kindle Store was just opened to a potentially millions and millions more people.
