Monday's Match to Watch at The U.S. Open

Melanie Oudin (USA)  vs.  Nadia Petrova (RUS) 13

 

This will be a great match to watch on your Labor Day holiday.  "The Upset Queen" Melanie Oudin takes on another tough Russian, this time Nadia Petrova.  I think this is a favorable opponent for Oudin, if she continues to move well, and be consistent, there is no reason she can't take out Petrova.  Petrova has been to the Quarters twice at Flushing.  She will have a confident Oudin and crowd to content with.

Prediction:  Oudin in three.
