The American Idol Makeover Continues... Ellen is Out!

People Magazine is reporting Ellen DeGeneres is quitting American Idol saying it isn't the right fit for her. You think?

The question to ask now is "are Randy and Kara safe?"

Creators are apparently doing whatever they need to do to make the show relevant again and avoid another train wreck like last season. 

"Idol" has continued to receive a great deal of press this Summer and I have to think that is a good thing.  The show does need some changes and a fresh look.  I wish Simon wasn't leaving the show, and I think Randy should stay, but everyone else is replaceable to me.

Fox has issued a statement, “We love Ellen and understand and support her decision to bow out of Idol. We were fortunate to receive the humor, energy and love for talent that she brought to the show.”
