Salmonella in Nesquik

Nestle has recalled certain lots of its Nesquik Chocolate Powder drink mix over concerns that a certain ingredient may be contaminated with salmonella. Nestle said it made the decision after Omya Inc., which supplies Nestle with calcium carbonate for the drink mix, issued a recall for certain lots of the ingredient over salmonella concerns. Nestle said the recall covers 40.7 oz., 21.8 oz. and 10.9 oz. canisters of Nesquik. All of the recalled products bear an expiration date of "best before Oct. 2014."
