World's Largest McDonald's to be Constructed for Olympics
Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11:38AM
McDonald's has been a long time supporter of the Olympics and that includes feeding the athletes and fans.
So to do that, the fast food giant is putting up the world's largest McDonald's in London.
With 1,500 seats and spanning about half the length of a football field, the fast-food restaurant is planning on selling about 50,000 Big Macs, 100,000 orders of french fries and 30,000 milkshakes. To serve all this up, McDonald's is looking to have more than 450 people on staff.

During the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics at the Athlete's Village, the athlete's had their choice of free buffets/restaurants - one of which even served steak and cooked-to-order pastas. Guess which eatery had lines for every meal? Yep, McDonald's. The athletes loved it and it made them happy to get the food as one of their dining options.
I would wish I could go there and order the largest Big Mac.
Could you upsize my fries to extra ginormous large too! LOL
