Births on Consecutive Days at New Jersey Burger King

Two women have delivered healthy babies on back-to-back days in the parking lot of the same Burger King restaurant in New Jersey.

Denville police say they were called to the restaurant Friday night for a woman going into labor. They say the parents were on the way to the hospital but got stuck in traffic and had to pull over.

Call it the BK Double.

World's Largest McDonald's to be Constructed for Olympics

McDonald's has been a long time supporter of the Olympics and that includes feeding the athletes and fans.

So to do that, the fast food giant is putting up the world's largest McDonald's in London.

With 1,500 seats and spanning about half the length of a football field, the fast-food restaurant is planning on selling about 50,000 Big Macs, 100,000 orders of french fries and 30,000 milkshakes. To serve all this up, McDonald's is looking to have more than 450 people on staff.

McDonald's Quest to Serve the Best French Fries

Great article in Business Week about McDonald's and their perfect French Fry.

Did you know...McDonald’s serves up 9 million pounds of its “world famous fries” globally each day?

It's important to McDonald's and other restaurant chains that they look at their supply chain and see where they are getting the food that they serve from.

A good read.
