Bald Eagles Nest Near Golf Course in Scottsdale

Like retirees from Wisconsin, an eagle has nested its family in Scottsdale.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department shared the photos of an eagle and her two eaglets on Thursday.

Eagles do not typically nest where there is a lot of human activity so this specific instance is unusual, said Game and Fish. A spokesperson said this is the first time the eagles have nested in this specific location.

Brewers End Long Drought With 3-2 Win

Home field does matter in baseball.

The Milwaukee Brewers eeked out a 3-2 extra inning victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks to win a NLDS series at Miller Park.  The first playoff series win for the Brewers in 28 years.

Nyjer Morgan was the extra inning hero, hitting an up the middle base hit off J.J. Putz that scored Carlos Gomez from second.

Ryan Braun went 2 for 3 and Yovanni Gallardo toughed out 6 innings when he didn't have his best stuff.

Saturday NCAA Elite 8 Play of the Day

Arizona

Hmmmm... Arizona getting 2.5 points.  I love it.  I think the road for UCONN comes to an end today.  Arizona has found its game and they way they beat Duke, there appears to be no stopping them, at least in this round.

The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog and an even more impressive 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win; showing they build on impressive wins.  That is a must in the tournament.

UCONN has played 8 games in 13 days.  They are tired.  I see Arizona taking control in the second half and pulling away with the win.  So you might want to look at the moneyline in this games as well.

In the other game:

I can't go against Butler.  They are getting 4 from Florida.  The Gators are more athletic, talented and may have the best player on the court in Erving Walker.  Still, take Butler and the 4.

So today's picks are Arizona and Butler.
